Clean Dishes After Every Meal

As a bonus tip, your phone is one item that will carry more germs than you can think of. You should consider sanitizing your phone on a regular basis since it is used so frequently. Ready-to-use (RTU) cleaning spray products are great for this purpose since they require no preparation—just the spray and a cloth. A good-quality RTU cleaner spray kills 99.99% of bacteria and viruses, ensuring that these germs aren’t spreading from your phone to your hands. Just be sure to keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
Prevent Cross-Contamination
No one wishes to experience food poisoning. Therefore, if you want to prevent it, you better avoid cross-contamination. More often, cross-contamination occurs when one uses the same utensils to prepare different types of foods. For example, if you use one cutting board to cut both raw meat and fruits/veggies, then you risk transferring germs from the meat to fruits/veggies easily. Unless you wash the board, it’s advisable that you use a different one for each food type.
Proper Waste Disposal
Proper waste disposal is another useful tip you should observe if you want to keep your kitchen clean and sanitary. The meal preparation process will always lead to waste generation. However, you shouldn’t let this waste pile up in your kitchen space, as it will promote the growth of bacteria and other disease-causing pathogens. If possible, you can have separate bins where you dispose of different types of waste upon generation, such as places for recycling, vegetable scraps, and the rest of your garbage.
